Caballo de Madera (Wooden Horse) was the starting point for this printed pocket calendar, inspired by the Chinese zodiac. The Horse is the seventh sign in the 12-year zodiac cycle. Years of the Horse include 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, and 2026. The animal symbolizes independence and integrity. Its spirit is said to reflect the ethos of the Chinese people—making unremitting efforts to improve themselves with passion and diligence.
