Olipop®’s design system was refined and tightened—bringing more structure, flexibility, and visual impact across every channel.

One of the pivotal shifts in the evolving system was a more saturated, energetic color palette. Moving away from the brand’s original light, clinical blues, we introduced richer pinks, reds, and purples—tones that brought vibrancy and visibility across dynamic backdrops, helping the product stand out on shelves, screens, and city streets.

A new logo animation brought a touch of delight to digital moments—revealing the Olipop mark through a soft, rainbow-like motion that echoed the effervescence of soda and the brand’s nostalgic fizz.

One of the most impactful strategic shifts was redefining the brand’s typographic hierarchy—elevating Windsor to lead as the primary voice across all communications, while repositioning Ano Sans as a supporting character. In the original identity, those roles were reversed, diluting the brand’s personality. This adjustment brought a stronger, more expressive tone to the forefront.

Across digital content, we introduced playful and expressive animations that combined product shots with stylized fruit and flavor elements—amplifying memorability, distinctiveness, and joy in motion.

Services: Design Direction / Brand Design Direction / Motion Direction
Design direction and brand system development across Olipop’s key cultural moments, campaigns, and retail growth during 2023 and 2024. As the brand scaled nationally, the design system evolved to become more unified and expressive—anchored in a refined color palette, consistent type system, and a refreshed photography style that balanced lifestyle storytelling with product clarity. These elements came together across all touchpoints, creating a cohesive omnichannel presence spanning packaging, out-of-home, digital, retail, and social.
Major launches included Olipop’s first OOH campaigns in Chicago and Miami, featuring artist-led murals that brought the brand’s joyful, nostalgic character into the streets while supporting market expansion. The limited-edition Barbie™ Peaches & Cream collaboration celebrated Barbie’s 65th anniversary through a collectible can and vibrant campaign that sold out quickly and became a permanent flavor due to high demand. Additional highlights included the Talea x Olipop summer release, a playful yet refined Black Friday 2023 campaign, and cultural moments like the viral “sleepy girl mocktail” trend—each rooted in the evolving brand system.
Together, these efforts helped position Olipop as a category leader in functional beverages. By mid-2024, the brand surpassed $200 million in sales, expanded into 20,000+ stores, and was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies. The unified and expressive design system played a central role in shaping how Olipop showed up across platforms—clear, confident, and culturally attuned.
